Cycling
If you are a cyclist, don't miss the ride this weekend that starts at the local Spokes Etc shop.

Here's how the folks at Spoke Etc. describe the ride:

Our rides take place on weekends, and alternate between Saturday and Sunday each week. This is a group road ride that can between 25-35 miles in length, or sometimes as long as 40 miles. The routes we ride are all on public roads with varying levels of car traffic. The ride pace will be between 15-20 mph depending on the terrain and the relative strength of the group. We have varying levels of cyclists too, from the avid recreational road cyclist to Triathletes, and some racers (thought I have a feeling that we will see less of them during the spring and summer).

We begin and end the rides at the shop [1545 N. Quaker Lane] and have coffee and bagels after the ride inside. On occasion we may do a remote ride; meaning some route not near the shop (e.g. Poolesville or Thurmont, MD)
